Love Poems in Adelaide
We are extremely honoured to have the multi-award winning poet, novelist, short story writer and librettist, Peter Goldsworthy to launch Australian Love Poems 2013.
Peter won no less than three awards for his 1982 poetry collection Readings for Ecclesiastes—Ann Elder Award, Commonwealth Poetry Prize and the South Australian Premier’s Award. His other poetry publications include This Goes with That, 1991, If, Then, 1996 and New and Selected Poems, 2001.
The celebration will begin at
6.30 pm at the SA Writers Centre on Friday 6 September.
Special Guests: editor of Australian Love Poems 2013, Mark Tredinnick and Australian Love Poets Jill Jones, Mike Ladd, Alison Flett, Lilliana Rose, Pam Maitland, Heather Taylor Johnson and JV Birch.
Come along and bring your friends to sip champagne, eat strawberries and spread the love.
