Way Back West Where it all Began…

We are delighted that William Yeoman, Books Editor and Senior Arts Writer of The West Australian will launch Australian Love Poems 2013 in WA where Donna Ward’s publishing career began.

William has worked in London as a music critic and still writes for UK classical music magazines Gramophone and International Record Review, as well as ABC Classic FM’s Limelight Magazine. He has been a chair at the Perth Writers Festival, given talks on music criticism at the University of WA and pre-concert talks for the WA Symphony Orchestra, judged the TAG Hungerford Award and a keynote speaker at the Public Libraries WA 2011 Biennial Conference.

The event will begin at 3 pm in the Pavlich Room at Fremantle Arts Centre.

Special Guests: editor Mark Tredinnick and Australian Love Poets Kevin Gillam, Roland Leach, Sue Clennell, Jackson, Julie Watts, Miranda Aitken and Shane McCauley.

Bring your friends, sip champagne, slip a strawberry between your lips and listen to love poetry and the ‘cello music of Kevin Gillam.

WHERE:                  The Pavlich Room, Fremantle Arts Centre, Finnerty St, Fremantle
